Hand-Made Renaissance Lost-Wax Cast Jewelry

Marina Calamai is a Florentine artist and designer. Inspired by nature and with the aim of creating tempting works of art that awaken the five senses, Marina uses her humor and irony to transform everyday objects into a more complex and layered work of art, a rebirth of the mundane into something unique, emotionally impactful yet playful.

Using the Renaissance lost wax method casting in all her jewelry, Marina works with bronze, silver, and gold. Marina Calamai also creates bespoke custom pieces as well as matrimonial pieces.

A CREATIVE APPROACH TO ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION

Eco-Art-System is a non-profit association founded in 2022 by Marina Calamai and other board members. Focused on raising awareness on sustainability issues and the environment through creative means while also promoting the shared consciousness of protecting our planet and green thinking through fun educational activities. 

Dedicated to ecological sustainability, Marina Calamai and Eco-Art-System has created two land art installation alongside the adaption of the 15th-century royal board game ‘The Game of Goose’ “ECO-OCA” within the Laurel Love Labyrinth, in Poppiano and Villa Favard di Rovezzano.
